A set of basic movements / of self-guardiKataj
A set of Taizendo basic movements is as follows: you protect yourself from attack by Dodging, quickly move to a blind corner, let the opponent lose balance by Balance-break technique, then adopt a suitable Counter attack technique according to the situation.

Dodging (Tai-sabaki)
Dodging means the skill to quickly avoid being attacked and move into the opponent's blind corner in the instant of touching the hand of the opponent who is standing at a distance of Taizendo's required space. Dodging consists of hand protection to be used to control the opponent's upper body work and footwork to be used to quickly move to the dead angle.

Balance-break techniqueiHOGEKIj
The principle of balance-break technique is to guide the opponent to the Off-balance Point (Houten), the standing position where a person standing on two legs is most likely to lose his/her balance. All Balance-break techniques of Taizendo make use of this principle.
