Sparring (Kumite)
Sparring is an opportunity to get the feeling of how to practically use the basic movements you have learned in a match. There are 3 stages for sparring.

Block Sparring Punch Sparring Full-contact Sparring

Stage 1, Block Sparring(Te-sabaki Kumite)
Block Sparring is training to develop your sense of hand-touch so that you can sense attack from the opponent.

Stage 2, Punch Sparring(Tsuki Kumite)
Punch Sparring is training to dodge the opponentŐs thrust attack by way of dodging skill.


Stage 3, Full-contact Sparring
(Sogo Kumite)
Full-contact Sparring is training to learn appropriate timing for Balance-break technique.
